artist assignment

Jim Brandenburg-
His type of photography is documentary and news, the intent of his photography is to show nature. The emphasis in his photos are black and white, shadow, and light. In his photos your eyes are attracted to the main element or the object of the photo. An emotional impact that are in his photos are sorrow. Jim uses a digital camera to take his photos, also he uses a digital lens.

Walker Evans-
The type of photography he takes is art and documentary, the intent of his photography is to show emotion. The emphasis in his photos are black and white. The part of the photos i look at first are the main objects. Sorrow is one of the emotional impacts he has in his photos. He used a 35 mm camera., and a black and white lens.

Annie Leibovitz-
The type of photography she takes is advertising, the intent of her photography is to convey messages about advertising like when she took photographs for disney's princess series. The emphasis in her photos are color. The part of the photos that i look at the most are the bright colors and emphasis she puts in her photographs. In my opinion, peacefulness is one of the emotional impacts in her photos. She has started using a digital camera.

Dorthea Lange-
The Type of photography she took was documentary, the intent of her photography is to convey a message about emotion. The emphasis in her photographs are black and white. The part of her photos that you tend to look at the most is the main focus of the photo. Emotional impact that is in her photos is sorrow and maybe intrigue. She uses a Graflex camera to take her photos.

The type of photos he took were news and documentary, the intent of his photographs was to document indians and their life. The emphasis in most his photographs was light, shadow, and black and white. The part of the photos that you look at the most is where the emphasis is.
